The Roughriders had the priviledge of meeting this beautiful young lady and her family.

Emberlyn underwent a critical spinal surgery on May 12th, 2020.  After her operation, which lasted over 6 1/2 hours, she spent 4 days in the Pediatric ICU before being moved to general care for another 7 days.

She then had emergency surgery on May 25th, 2020 followed by another 3 operations before her discharge on June 5th, 2020.

Emberly has a long road of recovery ahead of her while her mother gives her antibiotic infusions every 8 hours.

Joanie, Emberlyn's mother, has had to take a leave of absence from her work to care for her.  Unfortunately, it has been without pay from her employer.

The Roughriders are pleased to donate to this wonderful young lady's medical bills.

There is a "go fund me" account set up on facebook, if you would like to help this family.

Thank you!

On Saturday 2/19/2020, we attended the Kale "Woody" Woodside Benefit Pool Tournament and presented a donation to Woody.

Woody has coached and supported "Junior players and coaches for 20+ years.  He's now been diagnosed with cancer and we wanted to support him.

In Friday, July 10th 2020, we attended the

Teen Reach Adventure Camp in Lincoln, NE.

We had a great time meeting all of the people there and giving motorcycle rides to those that attended.

Those attandees had a great time and SO DID WE!

Teen Reach Adventure Camp (T.R.A.C.) is a camping program geared for at-risk youth, usually residing in foster care, who have been abused, abandoned or neglected.

Every Teen Reach Adventure Camp emphasizes self-value, teamwork, healthy values, and personal success.

The teenage years are awkward at best, but for teens in the foster care system, these years are especially difficult. Every day is literally a struggle to survive: gangs, addictions, and bullying are a reality for many.

At Teen Reach Adventure Camp, youth learn their true value and potential. Through activities on the challenge course, campers learn to process their stories and find healing from their pain.

Camp is packed full of fun activities, opportunities to learn and great memories which will change the lives of teenagers forever.

On Friday, June 31, 2020 the Roughriders went back to the Teen Reach Adventure Camp to visit with the attendees.

While there we had the opportunity to give those attendess rides on our motorcycles.

It was GREAT to see how much fun they had.

To be honest, WE had a blast too
